Latest news and plans for 2020

Dear all,

Although 2019 has been challenging, it has also been a very rewarding year. Not only have we been able to bring many visitors to Occitania, France; we have also brought a small international group to Greece in May. By doing this, we started a whole new chapter for Barinca T&T, opening up more possibilities and destinations for international audiences.

As we are approaching the end of the year, we would very much like to thank our colleagues and clients and the accommodations, restaurants and historical sites we have worked with from the heart for all the support, love and friendships. This really means a lot to us. ♥ It has given us the push we needed to continue our work; not only here in southern France, but also in Greece.

PLANS FOR 2020
Next year, we will be organizing several tours to Greece in 2020, in cooperation with our fantastic local travel agent.

We will also continue to facilitate groups for tours and retreats, as well as individual tourists, here in Cathar Country, southern France.

As our agenda is filling up quickly, I recommend contacting us without delay if you would like us to facilitate a tour for you in 2020.

SANTORINI GROUP RETREAT
Together with singer-songwriter Eve Marie Roy, Anneke is organizing a very special and unique retreat on the Greek island of Santorini, from 16th to 23rd May 2020, which may be of interest to you.

During this week we will visit all the important sites of the island guided by an archaeologist, and experience a 9D presentation in the Lost Atlantis Museum. We will also stay in a 4-star Spa hotel. However, in spite of what we offer, the tour price might surprise you.

SOUND RETREATS
There are also several very special Occitanian sound retreats in the planning, working together with singer/songwriter Eve Marie Roy and Renata Ash. More information about these tours will follow shortly.

GUIDED TOURS AND TRANSFERS
As we will again be working on demand, Anneke can be hired per day to be the talking head on your group outings or individual excursions, while Peter can be hired for transfers from the Domaine de Mournac - Les Labadous - Lavaldieu and several local hotels for airport transfers and transportation on excursion days for small groups only. For larger groups and larger tour buses we recommend contacting either Vidal or Alison Judge. If you wish, we can help you make your arrangements.

NEW THRILLER BOOK
Under the pen name of Jeanne D'Août, Anneke is currently finishing the 3rd book of her trilogy, planned to be launched in the Ducs de Joyeuse hotel in Couiza in France on 13th June, 2020.  Title: The Ringing Rocks of Atlantis.

If you would like to receive an invitation for the book launch, do not hesitate to contact Anneke. The Press is always welcome. ♥

The story plays in the ancient Mediterranean, linking Celtic France to Archaic Hellas. It is a quest to find evidence and archaeological remains of legendary lost civilizations and cultures. Although it is again a thriller novel, this book is once again based on thorough research, following historical facts and clues. As usual, the story follows its own mystical journey, and therefore it will be dedicated to the memory of Tim Wallace-Murphy, who passed away this year on June 29th.
